If you looked at where I started — a tiny place called Moldova↗, determined to become a doctor at 16 — you'd probably guess a very different path. But life has a way of reshuffling the plan.
I moved to the UK to study medical sciences. Somewhere between lectures and late-night study sessions, I stumbled into something unexpected: a love for tech, creativity, and the messy, fascinating way people interact with both. UX felt like home before I even had the words for it.
I began with small side projects. Then came a UX research internship at my university. That’s when things clicked. Since then, I’ve been designing experiences that make sense for users, and for the businesses behind them.
It’s been over three years now. I’ve worked across healthcare, education, climate, and risk. Big companies. Small teams. B2B and B2C. Each time, trying to answer the same question: what do people really need here?
Outside of work, I read. A lot. I’m reading Sapiens right now. I travel when I can (20+ countries so far) and I find joy in the little things: slow mornings, good conversations, and sharing both with the people I love.
Hey there! I'm Andrea. I'm originally from a tiny country in Eastern Europe, Moldova.
At 16, I was set on becoming a doctor. I moved to the UK to study medical sciences, but along the way, I discovered a new passion — tech and creativity. UX felt like the perfect blend.
During university, I started exploring small personal projects, and by my third year, I landed a UX research internship at my own university. That’s where everything clicked.
Today, I’m focused on designing meaningful experiences that serve both users and businesses, finding the balance between what people need and what the product needs to succeed.
With 3+ years of experience, I’ve worked across healthcare, environmental, education, and risk industries — in both B2B and B2C spaces, including startups.
Outside of work, you can find my reading — lately Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, or psychology books that deepen my understanding of people and the design decisions we make. I also love to travel, especially when I can share the journey with people I love. So far, I’ve stamped my password in over 20 countries.
I’m now preparing for my next chapter — a permanent move to the beautiful Netherlands 🌷 to continue growing both personally and professionally.
